Effective date: December 23, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Kelviq, Inc. collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our website, app, checkout, and customer portal.

1) Who we are

Kelviq, Inc. 2261 Market Street STE 46163 San Francisco, CA 94114 Email: support@kelviq.com

2) What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website
  • Users of the Kelviq app and dashboard (including sellers and their team members)
  • Buyers who purchase through Kelviq checkout and use the customer portal

It does not cover third party sites you may reach through links from Kelviq.

3) The information we collect

We collect information in three main ways: (1) you give it to us, (2) it is created when you use Kelviq, and (3) it comes from partners we use to run Kelviq.

A) Website visitors

  • Pages you view and actions you take on the site
  • Basic device and browser info
  • General location based on IP (our systems may not store IP long term, but some vendors may process it for security)

If you fill a form, we collect what you submit (name, email, company, message).

B) App and dashboard users (sellers and team members)

  • Account details (name, email, password or login method)
  • Workspace and business info you provide (business name, address, country, tax info if needed)
  • Settings and preferences
  • Support messages, files you upload, and feedback you send

C) Buyers (checkout and customer portal)

  • Name, email
  • Billing details (often country and postal code, and sometimes full billing address)
  • Optional phone number and company name
  • Order details (what you bought, price, currency, subscription status)
  • Receipts and invoices issued by Kelviq
  • Customer portal access via OTP sent to email
  • Downloads, access links, and license keys delivered through the portal

Kelviq does not store full card numbers on our servers. Payment partners process payment details and may store them.

D) Identity, fraud, and compliance (mainly for sellers)

To protect the platform and meet legal and payout rules, we may collect or receive:

  • Identity and business verification details (such as legal name, address, business registration details)
  • Payout related details (such as bank account details through our payout partners)
  • Fraud and risk signals (such as device info, IP processing, or risk scores) through our security and payment partners

E) Technical logs

We keep service logs such as timestamps, order IDs, device or browser type, and error logs. These help with reliability, security, and debugging.

4) How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the website, app, checkout, and customer portal
  • Create and manage accounts
  • Process purchases and subscriptions, and deliver digital goods
  • Send service messages (receipts, invoices, login OTP, subscription updates, refund updates)
  • Provide support and respond to requests
  • Prevent fraud, secure accounts, and protect Kelviq and users
  • Handle disputes, chargebacks, and refunds
  • Improve performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
  • Follow legal, tax, and accounting rules

Marketing messages If you opt in, we may send product updates or marketing emails. You can unsubscribe anytime using the link in those emails.

5) How we share information

We share personal information only as needed:

A) With sellers (for buyer orders)

When a buyer purchases from a seller, we share order and buyer details needed to fulfill the purchase and support the customer (such as buyer name, email, billing country/postal code, invoice details, and access details like license keys). We do not share buyer IP addresses with sellers.

B) With service providers

We use vendors for hosting, payments, fraud prevention, email delivery, support tools, analytics for reliability, and error monitoring. They can access personal information only to provide their service to Kelviq.

We may share information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Follow the law or respond to valid legal requests
  • Protect users, sellers, and Kelviq from fraud or security threats
  • Enforce our terms and resolve disputes

D) Business changes

If Kelviq is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal, with appropriate safeguards.

6) Cookies and similar tools

Kelviq aims to keep checkout and the portal cookie light. We do not use cookies for advertising on checkout.

Some parts of Kelviq may use essential cookies or similar tools to keep you signed in, prevent fraud, and keep the service secure. Payment and fraud partners may also set essential cookies or use similar tools to run checkout and prevent abuse.

If we use analytics, we use it to understand performance and improve the product, not to sell your data.

7) Automated decisions and fraud controls

We use fraud checks and security controls. In some cases, a payment or action may be automatically blocked without human review. If you believe this was a mistake, contact support@kelviq.com.

8) Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, including legal and accounting rules.

Typical retention examples:

  • Transaction records, invoices, and receipts: usually 7 years
  • Account data: while your account is active, and then for a limited time after closure
  • Support and dispute records: as needed to resolve issues and meet legal needs
  • Technical logs: kept for security and reliability, then deleted or reduced over time

9) International data transfers

Kelviq is based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we and our vendors operate. Where required, we use accepted safeguards for cross border transfers.

10) Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your personal information (with legal and tax exceptions)
  • Receive a copy of your information
  • Opt out of marketing emails

To request any of these, email support@kelviq.com. We may ask for details to confirm your identity.

California notice We do not sell personal information. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy laws. You can contact us at support@kelviq.com to exercise them.

12) Adults only

Kelviq checkout is intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we will update the effective date and may provide notice on the website, app, checkout, or portal.

If you want, I can also produce a second version that is shorter and more “checkout friendly” (one page, fewer sections), while keeping the same legal coverage.
